The Trends tab transforms your scheduled report data into actionable insights about your performance over time. Instead of snapshots, you get the full story.
To use the Trends tab, you need:
At least one Scheduled Report created
At least 2+ completed runs for that schedule
Reports selected from a schedule (not individual reports)
New to scheduled reports? Learn how to create one
Go to AI Dashboards → AI Visibility
Click the Trends tab
Select a scheduled report from the dropdown
Quick metrics at the top:
Stat | Description |
Total Runs | How many times this schedule has run |
Prompts Tracked | Number of prompts being monitored |
Avg Visibility | Average score across all runs |
The main chart shows visibility over time:
Reading the chart:
X-axis: Date of each run
Y-axis: Visibility percentage (0-100%)
Multiple lines: One per location config (if you have several)
Trend patterns:
Pattern | Meaning |
Steady upward | Your efforts are working |
Gradual decline | Something changed—investigate |
Flat line | Stable performance |
Volatile | Inconsistent—may need more runs for accuracy |
Below the chart, the table shows individual prompt trends:
Column | Description |
Prompt | The question being tracked |
Category | Topic category |
Runs | How many times it's been analyzed |
Sparkline | Mini trend chart |
Latest | Most recent visibility % |
Avg | Average visibility across runs |
Trend | Direction with delta |
The trend shows:
Up (green) — Visibility improving
Down (red) — Visibility declining
Stable (gray) — No significant change
The percentage shows how much:
+8.5% → Improved 8.5 points
-3.2% → Declined 3.2 points
+0.5% → Essentially stable
If your schedule tracks multiple regions:
Use the Location dropdown
Select "All Locations" or a specific one
Chart and table update to show that region
If your prompts have categories:
Use the Category dropdown
Select "All Categories" or a specific one
Focus on one topic area at a time
Choose which runs to include:
All runs from the schedule
Specific date range
Individual runs
Click any prompt row to see detailed run history:
Shows every time this prompt was analyzed:

See exactly when a prompt improved/declined
Correlate with your content changes
Understand the AI response context
Every week, check:
Overall trend direction
Any prompts that dropped significantly
Any prompts that improved (what worked?)
Each month, do a deeper dive:
Compare this month vs last month averages
Identify consistent winners/losers
Adjust your content strategy
When you publish new content:
Note the date
Wait 2-3 weeks for AI to update
Check if relevant prompts improved
If you track multiple locations, the chart shows each as a separate line:
New York: ████████████ 72%
Los Angeles: ██████████░░ 65%
Chicago: ████████░░░░ 58%
What to look for:
Consistent across regions: Your content works everywhere
One region lagging: May need localized content
All regions declining: Broader issue with your visibility
Upward TrendWhat it means: You're gaining visibility
Possible causes:
Content improvements paying off
New backlinks helping
Competitors declining
AI models updated favorably
Action: Keep doing what you're doing, document what worked
Downward TrendWhat it means: You're losing visibility
Possible causes:
Competitors improving
Your content becoming outdated
AI models updated unfavorably
Lost important backlinks
Action: Investigate specific prompts, update content, check competitors
Flat TrendWhat it means: Stable performance
Interpretation depends on score:
High score + flat = Great, maintain position
Low score + flat = Need to change strategy
Medium score + flat = Opportunity for growth
Volatile/ErraticWhat it means: Inconsistent results
Possible causes:
AI responses vary run-to-run
Not enough data points yet
External factors (news, events)
Action: Wait for more runs, focus on overall trend vs individual runs
