Content Analytics shows the last 28 days of data. This is:
Long enough to see meaningful trends
Short enough for recent data relevance
Standard Google Search Console period
Data syncs automatically, but you can force a refresh:
Click the Refresh button in the top right
Wait for the sync to complete
Data updates across all charts and tables
The page footer shows when data was last synced from Google.
If you see "No search data yet":
New blog: Google takes 2-4 weeks to index new sites
New content: Allow time for pages to be crawled and indexed
DNS issues: Ensure your blog is accessible
Domain mismatch: Ensure your WordPress domain is verified in Search Console
GA4 not tracking: Confirm GA4 is installed on your WordPress site
Permissions: Check Google account has access to Search Console
Signs your content is working:
Steady or increasing clicks over time
Click-through rate above 2-3%
Average position improving (moving toward 1)
Signs that need attention:
High impressions but low clicks = improve meta descriptions
Declining positions = update and refresh content
No impressions = content may not be indexed
For articles with strong performance:
Create more content on similar topics
Add internal links to other pages
Update with fresh information to maintain rankings
For articles with low engagement:
Review and improve the title/meta description
Update content with more depth and value
Add internal links from higher-traffic pages
Consider rewriting or consolidating weak content
If you have a hosted blog but no analytics:
