Before publishing, ensure your content is ready:
Open your article in the editor
Review content in the Preview tab
Check Details in the sidebar:
Tags are relevant
Meta description is compelling
Featured image is appropriate
Focus keyword is set
In the article editor:
Click the Publish Article button (or Update Article if already published)
If you have multiple targets, select your destination
Confirm the publish action
After successful publishing:
A success modal appears with the live URL
Click to view your published article
Status updates to "Published"
If you have both a hosted blog and WordPress connection:
Click Publish Article
A modal shows all available targets
Select your preferred destination
You can publish to additional platforms later
To update an already-published article:
Make your edits in the editor
Click Update Article
Select the same target
Changes are pushed to your live site
When you publish an article, RankPrompt sends:

To publish to WordPress, you need to set up a connection:
Go to Integrations from the sidebar
Click Add Connection in WordPress section
Enter your site URL
Create an Application Password in WordPress
Complete the connection

To use RankPrompt's hosted blog:
Go to Integrations from the sidebar
In the "Hosted Blog" section, enter your domain
Follow DNS setup instructions
Wait for provisioning to complete

You haven't connected a blog yet:
Go to Integrations to set up WordPress or hosted blog
Connection must be "Active" status
Common causes and solutions:
Issue | Solution |
Authentication error | Re-enter WordPress credentials |
Connection timeout | Check your WordPress site is accessible |
Permission denied | Ensure user has publishing permissions |
Image upload failed | Check WordPress media permissions |
Your WordPress theme may have different styling
Custom CSS may override RankPrompt formatting
Check with your theme's support for guidance
After publishing, monitor your article performance:
Wait 2-4 weeks for data to accumulate
Check Content Analytics for traffic metrics
View clicks, impressions, and search positions
Don't forget to review published content:
From the article editor, click the bell icon
Set a reminder for 2-4 weeks out
You'll get a notification to review performance
Keep articles fresh and accurate:
Make edits in the article editor
Click Update Article
Changes are pushed to your live site
Review all content for accuracy
Check meta description is compelling
Verify featured image is appropriate
Ensure tags are relevant
Share on social media
Add internal links from other content
Monitor search performance
Update if information changes
