When you start an article from scratch, the first step is Choose a format. The format decides the article's structure, the options the form asks for, and how many images it gets. An article from an opportunity comes with a format already picked; you can change it before you generate.
Every format costs the same: 10 credits per article.
Topic: what the article should cover. Every format except Blog post / guide can leave it blank and build the target keyword from its options.
Content inspiration (optional): pick up to 5 prompts where AI platforms miss your brand, to steer the angle.
Title, keywords & sources: an optional Title, Target keywords and Pinned sources.
When your topic reads like another format, the form offers to switch ("This reads like a Ranked list. Switch?").
Format | Best for | Options | Images |
|---|---|---|---|
Blog post / guide | Any topic that does not fit a fixed format; research picks the structure | Angle / focus (optional) | 2 |
Comparative article | Prompts that compare you with a competitor ("X vs Y", "alternatives to X") | Select competitor, Key differentiators | 1 |
Ranked list | "Best" and "top" prompts | How many items? (3 to 15, default 5), List theme | 2 |
Geo spotlight | Prompts about a city or region | City / Region, Content angle | 2 |
Case study | Proof: a customer story with challenge, solution and results | Customer segment, Outcome metric | 2 |
Product deep dive | "How do I" prompts about one feature or workflow | Feature to highlight, Audience pain point | 2 |
FAQ article | Questions about your own product or service | FAQ Focus Area, Number of questions (5 to 15, default 8) | 1 |
Citation FAQ | Long-form answers built to be quoted by AI | Topic, Number of questions (5 to 20, default 10) | 1 |
Statistics roundup | "Statistics" and "how many" prompts | Topic, Number of stats (5 to 30, default 12) | 1 |
Glossary | "What is" prompts across a field | Topic / domain, Number of terms (5 to 40, default 15) | 1 |
Images come from the page itself where possible (a product page's own image, a Google Business Profile photo or a screenshot) and are generated otherwise.
The flexible format and the one the form selects first. The research decides the structure: it answers the question in the opening, goes deep on the most valuable sub-topic, and ends with practical steps. It needs a topic. Use Angle / focus to aim it, for example "for agencies evaluating tools".
An honest comparison of your brand against one competitor: a comparison table, a deep dive on the difference that matters most, and a recommendation that says when the competitor wins. Select competitor suggests the competitors named in your AI answers. Key differentiators offers Features, Ease of use, Performance, Integrations, Customer support and Pricing, or your own. Left without a topic, it targets "your brand vs the competitor", for example "Pipedrive vs HubSpot" when you are Pipedrive.
A numbered list with a short methodology and a quick comparison at the end. Set the size in How many items? and the subject in List theme, for example "CRM tools for real estate agents".
A local landing page for one city or region. Content angle is Service promotion (the default: how your brand serves that place) or Local guide / insights (a guide to the place, with your brand in it). Left without a topic, it targets "your brand in the region".
A customer story: executive summary, the challenge, the solution, the results and the takeaways. Customer segment names who the customer is ("Mid-market ecommerce teams") and Outcome metric the result ("+38% organic visibility"). Use figures you can stand behind.
One feature or workflow explained: the problem, the solution, how it works, how to get started and tips. Fill in Feature to highlight and the Audience pain point it solves.
Questions and answers about your own product or service, for example pricing, features, getting started or integrations. Set the area in FAQ Focus Area and the count in Number of questions.
A long-form FAQ on a topic in your field, built to be quoted: every answer opens with a short fact that answers the question on its own, before the detail.
A roundup of cited figures on one topic, grouped by theme. Statistics are one of the formats AI platforms quote most. Each figure links to its source, and the source check looks each one up on that page.
A definitions page for a field: each term gets a one or two sentence definition that stands on its own and is marked up as a defined term, a structure AI platforms ground on and cite.
The prompt sounds like | Try |
|---|---|
"best CRM for small teams", "top 10 email tools" | Ranked list |
"HubSpot vs Salesforce", "alternatives to Mailchimp" | Comparative article |
"real estate agents in Austin", "IT support near Denver" | Geo spotlight |
"how do I automate lead follow-up in Zapier" | Product deep dive or Blog post / guide |
"how much does a CRM cost", "is HubSpot free" | FAQ article |
"email marketing statistics 2026" | Statistics roundup |
"what is a sales pipeline" | Glossary or Citation FAQ |
Mix formats across a topic: a glossary and an FAQ answer the definitions, a ranked list and a comparison win the buying prompts, and a case study proves the claim.
