AI platforms lean on Reddit, Q&A forums and LinkedIn posts when they answer. Community (Outreach > Community in the sidebar) is where you keep the threads you want to answer, draft a useful reply and track which ones you posted.
Community is available from the Starter plan. Rank Prompt never posts anything for you: you copy the reply and post it yourself.
From Sources: on Sources > Reddit, Forums or LinkedIn, click Add to community on a row, or select up to 50 rows and add them together. The Community column on those pages shows each thread's status in Community, or Not added.
From a search: under Find threads, type a keyword and click Search. Rank Prompt searches Google in your brand's Market and lists the Reddit, forum and LinkedIn threads that rank for it, including the ones in Google's discussions and forums block, with their rank. Click Add on the ones you want to answer.
A search costs 1 credit. Run again refreshes a saved search and costs 1 credit again. Saved searches stay until you click Delete search; the threads you added from a search stay in Community.
The tabs sort your threads by status and show how many each one holds: Open, Drafted, Replied, Ignored and All. Narrow the table by network (Reddit, Forums or LinkedIn) or with Search threads. The threads the most AI answers cite come first.
Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
Thread | The thread's title and link |

AI platforms | The AI platforms whose answers cite it |
Last cited | When an answer last cited it |
Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Open | Added, no reply drafted yet |
Drafted | A reply is drafted |
Replied | You posted a reply and saved its link |
Ignored | You decided not to answer |
Click a thread to open it:
Give it context. Under What the thread says, click Paste text, paste the question and the replies you want to answer, and click Save text. Or click Read with web search to have the AI read it: that reading is approximate, so check the thread itself before you reply. Without either, the draft works from the search result's title and snippet only.
Draft a reply. Pick a Tone (Helpful, Expert or Casual) and a Length (Short, Medium or Long), then click Draft reply. Redraft gives you a new version. The draft answers the question first, names your brand only when it truly answers it, and adds a first-person disclosure in the thread's language, such as "I work at HubSpot".
Check the rules risk. Each draft rates how the community is likely to take it (Low rules risk, Medium rules risk or High rules risk) and says why under Community rules:.
Copy and post. Click Copy reply, then Open thread and post the reply yourself.
Mark it replied. Click Mark replied and paste the link to the reply you posted. The row keeps showing whether AI answers still cite the thread.
A thread you will not answer can be set aside with Ignore and brought back with Reopen. Remove takes it out of Community; its citations stay in Sources and you can add it again later.
Drafts and web search readings do not cost credits: they spend your AI budget, like AI edits in the article editor. Owners and editors can add threads, draft replies and run searches; viewers can read everything.
Start with the threads the most AI answers cite, on the prompts that miss your brand.
Read the community's rules on self-promotion first. Skip threads your brand does not answer.
Keep the disclosure. Never use extra accounts or ask for votes.
