OpenAI Ads lets you run advertising inside ChatGPT. The Rank Prompt integration pulls your OpenAI Ads account into the app so you can review performance, manage campaigns, and generate AI-assisted creative — all in one place alongside your visibility data.
This is a beta feature available on Pro and above.
Once connected, the OpenAI Ads page gives you three tabs:

Generate an API key in your OpenAI Ads dashboard. Copy the key — you'll need it in the next step.
Go to Integrations from the sidebar
Find the OpenAI Ads section and click Connect
Paste your API key in the dialog
Click Save
Rank Prompt verifies the key and syncs your account data. The OpenAI Ads page will appear in the sidebar once connected.
Click OpenAI Ads in the sidebar to open your campaign dashboard.
From the Campaigns tab you can:
Browse campaigns, ad groups, and ads
View budgets and status
Navigate into individual ad groups for detail
Use the Refresh button in the page header to pull the latest data from OpenAI Ads at any time.
Rank Prompt can help generate ad creative using your visibility data as context.

Credits are deducted from your regular monthly or top-up credit balance.
The Conversions tab helps you set up an OpenAI pixel to track post-click conversions from your chat-card ads. Follow the instructions on that tab to get your pixel ID and add the tracking snippet to your site.
To remove your OpenAI Ads connection:
Open OpenAI Ads from the sidebar
Click Settings in the top right
Click Disconnect

This deletes your saved API key from Rank Prompt. Your active campaigns continue running in OpenAI — only the Rank Prompt sync is removed.
Your API key was rejected by OpenAI on the last sync — this usually means the key was rotated or deleted in OpenAI. Generate a new key in OpenAI Ads and reconnect from Settings on the OpenAI Ads page.
A temporary sync error. The page shows the most recent cached data. Click Refresh or wait for the next automatic sync.
Ensure your OpenAI Ads account has at least one campaign created. If campaigns exist but don't appear, click Refresh to force a fresh fetch.

No. Rank Prompt reads your campaign data and can help you generate creative, but connecting or disconnecting does not pause, modify, or delete any live campaigns in OpenAI.
Collaborators with Editor access can connect an account, manage creative settings, and use the Campaigns tab. Collaborators with Viewer access can see data but not make changes.
Yes. Each brand in Rank Prompt has its own OpenAI Ads connection with its own API key, matching each brand to its corresponding OpenAI Ads account.
