For agencies managing multiple clients, switching between brand after brand to check task status is slow. Agency Plus includes a cross-brand tasks view at /tasks that pulls tasks from all your brands into a single, filterable view.
Cross-brand tasks is an Agency Plus feature:
Plan | Per-Brand Tasks | Cross-Brand Tasks |
|---|---|---|
Starter | Yes | No |
Pro | Yes | No |
Agency | Yes | No |
Agency Plus | Yes | Yes |
Agency Plus supports up to 1,000 brands, so the cross-brand view is especially useful for large portfolios.
Navigate to /tasks from the main sidebar (outside of any individual brand). This opens the agency-wide task view.
Alternatively, click Tasks in the top-level agency navigation.
The cross-brand tasks view shows tasks from all brands you manage:
Column | Description |
|---|---|
Task title | The task name |
Brand | Which brand the task belongs to |
Status | One of the 5 fixed statuses |
Category | The task category (Content, Technical, Outreach, etc.) |
Priority | High, Medium, or Low |
Due date | When the task is due (if set) |
Tasks from every brand appear in a single list, so you can see the full picture of work in progress without navigating per-brand.
Use the filter controls at the top of the cross-brand view to narrow down tasks:
Select one or more brands to show only their tasks. Useful when you want to focus on a specific client's work or compare two clients side by side.
Show only tasks with a specific status - for example, view all "In progress" tasks across every brand to identify bottlenecks.
Brand and status filters can be combined. For example: tasks that are in "Review" for a specific set of clients.
The cross-brand view also supports both display modes:
List view (default): All tasks in a filterable list, with brand column visible.
Board view: Kanban columns by status, showing cards from all brands (or your filtered set).
Switch between views using the toggle in the header, the same as per-brand tasks.
The cross-brand list view and agency board do not expose a New Task button. To create tasks, navigate to the individual brand and use its own task board. Tasks created per-brand appear immediately in the cross-brand view.
Cross-brand tasks and per-brand tasks show the same underlying data:
A task created on a brand's task board appears in the cross-brand view.
Editing or completing a task in either view updates it everywhere.
There is one unified set of tasks per brand - the cross-brand view is simply a wider lens.
The same 5 statuses apply across every brand:
Status | Typical Use |
|---|---|
Backlog | Ideas and future work, not yet scheduled |
In progress | Actively being worked on |
Review | Awaiting feedback or approval |
Approved | Reviewed and approved, ready to execute or finalize |
Done | Completed work |
Using these statuses consistently across all brands makes cross-brand status filters reliable.
For Agency Plus users, the most efficient way to work through a backlog of visibility tasks is to delegate them to the AI Agent Copilot.
Open the AI Agent (bottom-right chat icon) while viewing a specific brand.
Reference the task you want handled: "Work on the task: [task title]" or just describe the goal.
The Agent analyzes the brand's current visibility data and executes the relevant actions - running reports, identifying gaps, drafting content, finding citation opportunities, etc.
Review the output and mark the task Done.
Because the Agent is brand-aware, it can act on task descriptions without needing detailed instructions. "Improve our Perplexity visibility" is enough - it knows your brand, your current scores, and your competitor data.
Create tasks for each client brand (per-brand view).
Use the cross-brand view to see the full backlog across all clients.
Pick a brand, open the Agent, and ask it to work through that brand's highest-priority tasks.
Review, approve, and mark done.
Open the cross-brand view, filter to "In progress" and "Review" across all brands, and review what needs attention before client calls.
Track articles and content tasks across all clients. Filter by brand to review what's pending for each client individually.
Filter by due date to see what's coming up across all clients and redistribute work if needed.
A large number of tasks stuck in "Review" across multiple brands signals a review bottleneck. Use the cross-brand board view to see this at a glance.
When working cross-brand, task titles like "Run brand audit" become ambiguous. The brand column clarifies context, but specific titles like "Q3 Audit - Acme Corp" are easier to scan.
Since the cross-brand view is read/filter only, make it a habit to create tasks from each brand's own task board. The cross-brand view will reflect them immediately.
Make the cross-brand view part of your weekly agency workflow. A quick scan of all "In progress" and "Review" tasks gives you a fast pulse check on everything in flight.
