The Settings page lets you control how and when RankPrompt notifies you about important events. Customize in-app and email notifications to match your workflow.
From the sidebar, click your profile icon → Settings.
Notifications shown in the RankPrompt navbar (bell icon):
Notification | Description |
Manual Reports | When reports you manually run finish |
Scheduled Reports | When automated scheduled reports complete |
Run Now Reports | When you manually trigger a scheduled report |
Content Complete | When AI-generated content is ready |
SEO Alerts | When SEO issues are detected |
Insufficient Credits | When actions fail due to no credits |
Collaboration | When you're added to a brand |
Reminders | Your scheduled content review reminders |
Notifications sent to your email address:
Notification | Description |
Scheduled Reports | Email when scheduled reports complete |

Insufficient Credits | Email when actions fail due to no credits |
Collaboration | Email when you're added to a brand |
Reminders | Email for scheduled reminders |
Each notification type has a toggle switch:
On (colored): You'll receive this notification
Off (gray): Notification is disabled
Changes are saved automatically when you toggle a setting. You'll see a confirmation message.
Click the bell icon in the navbar to see notifications:
Unread count shows on the icon
Click to open notification panel
Click individual notifications to navigate
Each notification includes:
Title: What happened
Description: Details about the event
Time: When it occurred
Action: Click to go to relevant page
Click a notification to mark it as read
"Mark all as read" clears unread count
Notifications remain in history
Email notifications are sent immediately when events occur:
Scheduled report completes → email sent
SEO alert triggered → email sent
Collaboration invite → email sent
Each email includes:
Event description
Relevant details
Link back to RankPrompt
To stop emails for a specific type:
Go to Settings
Find the email notification
Toggle it off
Or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Yes, you can disable each notification type individually. However, we recommend keeping at least "Insufficient Credits" enabled.
Check spam folders, verify your email address, and ensure email notifications are enabled in Settings.
In-app notifications are kept for 30 days. After that, they're automatically removed.
Notifications go to your account email. To change this, update your account email in your profile.
